Paul is a Partner at PrairieGold Venture Partners, a Sioux Falls, SD based venture capital firm he co-founded in 2004, and the CEO of PrairieGold Solar, a distributed solar finance company. He leads PrairieGold’s Greentech investment initiative and oversees all aspects of the firm’s investment activities, from sourcing, structuring and negotiating investments to serving as a board member for portfolio companies. In addition to serving as CEO of PrairieGold Solar, Paul also serves on the board of tenKsolar and ZeaChem, and oversees the firm’s investments in Agrivida and General Compression. Prior to PrairieGold, Paul served as an advisor to Senator Tom Daschle from 1996-2004, working on economic, science and technology issues. Paul received his B.A. in economics from Macalester College.
